CompTIA is looking for IT professionals who have extensive experience working in enterprise level security management to be involved in an Item Writing workshop for the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Certification exam.
During the Item Writing workshop, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will create, develop, and review item content (questions) for the CompTIA CASP+ Certification exam.
Assistance from SMEs is crucial in providing an industry relevant exam. Potential SMEs must have at least 8 years of experience working in enterprise level security management. It is preferred that SMEs are CASP+ certified (or hold an equivalent/higher credential).
SMEs who attend the workshop will receive:
In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire Item Writing workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.
*International SMEs will instead receive $500/day stipend ($2,500 total) to help defer additional travel costs.
Based on changing state and government guidelines/requirements, vaccination is currently not required for workshop participants.

Only professionals currently working in one of the above fields should apply. Although CompTIA appreciates interest from the training community, applications from trainers/teachers, authors, or individuals who may profit or materially benefit from knowledge of the CompTIA credential content are not eligible to participate.
