IT Fundamentals Experts Needed

CompTIA is currently looking for IT professionals to participate in an Objective Development workshop for our new Tech+ Certification Exam.

During the Item Writing workshop, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will create, develop, and review item content (questions) for the CompTIA Tech+ Certification exam.

Assistance from IT Fundamental SMEs is crucial in providing an industry relevant exam. To qualify, SMEs must have at least 2 years’ experience in PC installation, general security, networking, and computer information systems

Preferably A+, Network+ and/or Security+ certified (or equivalent)

SMEs who attend the workshop will receive:

• An honorarium of $200 per day (or $1,000 total for the week), pending adequate level of participation
• 40 continuing education credits (CEUs)
• A complimentary CompTIA testing voucher for the exam of their choice

In recognition of their contributions, all SMEs who participate in the entire Item Writing workshop will have their names and companies (if provided) listed on the CompTIA website.

Based on changing state and government guidelines/requirements, vaccination is currently not required for workshop participants.

Only IT professionals with at least 2 years of experience should apply.
