Downers Grove, Ill. – CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the global technology industry, today released a new and updated Marketing Toolkit for MSPs as part of its ongoing efforts to support its growing membership of managed service and technology solution providers around the globe.
The Marketing Toolkit for MSPs, is a complete overhaul of CompTIA’s popular members-only resource last updated in 2017. The 90-page toolkit provides step-by-step guidance and more than 15 templates and examples to help technology companies develop and execute effective marketing campaigns that will support short- and long-term business goals.
“This is an incredibly valuable toolkit for our members as they continue to grow and expand their technology businesses,” said Nancy Hammervik, executive vice president of industry relations and CEO of the CompTIA Tech Career Academy. “Marketing in today’s business environment is critical and CompTIA is here to help our members succeed by providing them the support and tools they need.”
The Marketing Toolkit for MSPs was created for new MSPs needing to create a strong marketing foundation but not sure where to start, solo owner-operators or small MSP teams that don’t have dedicated marketing staff but need to enable greater sales with proven marketing tactics, and medium-size MSPs looking to energize their marketing playbook with newer, digital approaches.
Sections in the toolkit include:
The toolkit also dives into digital marketing to empower technology businesses of all sizes to make the most out of the latest marketing strategies and techniques. The guide includes best practices for website marketing, email marketing, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), content marketing, including video marketing, and social media marketing.
Publication of the Marketing Toolkit for MSPs follows the release of the Legal Resources for Tech SMBs, a comprehensive resource designed to help tech companies navigate the complicated and expensive process of managing the legal aspects of running a business.
The Marketing Toolkit for MSPs and Legal Resources for Tech SMBs are both available exclusively to CompTIA members and can be accessed by visiting my.CompTIA.org, the association’s members-only web portal.
